JAGIROAD, Aug 19 - The Jagiroad College Students� Union, along with the Extension Education Cell of the college, today distributed aid among the flood-hit people of Mayong. A 12-member team, led by Jagiroad College vice principal PC Gogoi, Dr HK Chutia, coordinator, Extension Education Cell, and the general secretary of the students� union, Mousam Borah, distributed rice, wheat, sugar, chira, potatoes, soaps, biscuits, etc., among the 120 flood-affected families in the area.
