GUWAHATI, Sept 5 - Five drug peddlers � Krishnan Makita (32), Kamal Das (36), Ritwik Raj Gautam (30), Siyam Pret Das (26), and Shaheen Ahmed (30) � were arrested today in connection with the Hatigaon Police Station case No.442/16, U/S- 21/29 NDPS Act.
Shaheen Ahmed is the kingpin of the drugs racket.
Police said the arrested were from well-off families.
