Fine weather to add more joy to Bhogali Bihu celebrations

GUWAHATI, Jan 12 - Weather over the north-eastern region during the Bhogali Bihu festival is expected to be fine with a clear sky. However, temperatures would by and large remain normal and shallow to moderate fog would continue to cover isolated pockets of the region during the morning and night hours for the next five days.

The Regional Meteorology Centre (RMC) here has cautioned that a blanket of dense fog would cover isolated pockets in Meghalaya tonight and tomorrow morning.

There is a possibility of isolated rain over Arunachal Pradesh on January 15 and 16. On January 16, isolated rain is likely to occur over northeast Assam. On January 17, the weather is expected to remain fine over the region.

In the city, maximum temperature would be around 26 degree Celsius tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, and the minimum temperature in the city would be around 9 degree Celsius tomorrow and it would be around 10 degree Celsius the day after.
