Final journey of chopper crash victims

ITANAGAR, Aug 13 - The mortal remains of Pawan Hans helicopter crash victims � Tirap DC Kamlesh Joshi and pilots Captain MS Brar and Captain Rajeev Hoskote � were today flown to their respective home towns in two special Air Force aircrafts from Mohanbari Airport in Dibrugarh.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki along with Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi and ADC to Governor Tage Habung paid tributes to late Joshi and the pilots by laying wreaths on their coffins draped in national tri-colours.

�The people of Arunachal Pradesh and the State Government would remain indebted to the families of the three departed souls�, Tuki, who air-dashed to Dibrugarh in a Skyone chopper to pay tributes to the crash victims, said.

While mortal remains of Joshi and Brar were flown to Delhi in an AN 32 IAF plane, Hoskote�s body was flown in a Pawan Hans chopper to Guwahati for onward transportation to his native place.

The same chopper has flown the mortal remains from Khonsa this morning to AMC for post-mortem.
