Film on Sankaradeva to be screened in London

GUWAHATI, Sept 8 - Sarbagunakor Srimanta Sankardev, a movie reflecting the life and works of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankaradeva is all set to be screened in London.

Produced by Sanjive Narain and directed by Manju Borah under the banner of AM Television, Sarbagunakor Srimanta Sankardev, the first Assamese animation movie, will be screened on September 18 at 6 pm in the premises of the prestigious Nehru Centre in London.

In a press statement, Narain and Borah said that Mahapurush Srimanta Sankaradeva established the root of the Assamese society, which is why with the intention of introducing this great person to the outer world, they came up with the movie.

On the other hand, after watching the movie, the current generations would not only get a glimpse of the life and works of Srimanta Sankaradeva, but will also feel inspired to make their contributions towards society. Producer Narain will be present during the screening of the movie in London.
