GUWAHATI, Nov 1 - Maharnab Choudhury, a class 7 student of International School, Guwahati and Karan K Buragohain, a class 6 student of Delhi Public School, Guwahati has been awarded International Rating of 1043 and 1031 respectively by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) in the latest Rating List announced today.
Both the players are undergoing training at the Assam Chess Club situated at Wireless in Guwahati.
Another player, Shaurya Jalan, a class 3 student of Royal Global School, Guwahati was also awarded FIDE rating of 1025, stated a press release.
