GUWAHATI, April 12 - The Beltola Senior Citizens� Association and several other socio-cultural organisations of southern Guwahati will felicitate eminent oriental scholar and retired professor of Gauhati University Dr Ashok Kumar Goswami on his 80th birthday at the association�s office on May 1.
The meeting will be addressed by Dr Dipak Sarma, Vice Chancellor, Sanskrit University, as chief guest. Scholar Dr Malini Goswami will be the special guest. Senior journalist DN Chakravartty will release the felicitation volume on Dr Goswami.
