SILCHAR, Jan 5: Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Barak Valley Zone, Indrani Goswami, was accorded farewell by the staff of DDIPR office here in a befitting manner in a meeting organised at the Regional Office of Information and Public Relations recently. Goswami has taken voluntary retirement from service after serving in the department for 28 years. Staff artiste of the DDIPR Office, Jamuna Sinha, who also retired from the department on the same day, was also accorded farewell by the staff on the occasion. Circle Officer, Silchar Sadar, Dhrubajyoti Pathak, has taken over as in-charge of the DDIPR office, Barak Valley region. – Staff Correspondent
