Fan Park set up at ACA stadium for IPL opener

GUWAHATI, April 4 - In order to attract cricket fans towards the Indian Premier League (IPL), the organisers of the VIVO IPL 2017 has set up a �Fan Park� in the Assam Cricket Association�s (ACA) Barsapara stadium here.

Disclosing this in a press conference here today, Anant Nigam, official of the DNA Entertainment Ltd said it for the third consecutive year that they will continue the Fan Park concept so that people can experience a stadium like atmosphere in front of a giant screen tomorrow.

The project was launched in the year 2015 covering 16 cities. This year they have expanded it to 36 cities in 21 States of the country.

Here in the city the organisers are arranging to accommodate 6000 people for tomorrow�s match. Fans will get free entry. Limited seats for VIPs will also be kept reserved.

ACA secretary Pradip Buragohain praised the BCCI for putting Guwahati in the Fan Park list which will facilitate the cricket crazy Guwahatians to enjoy the opening match of the 10th edition of the IPL. ACA assistant secretary Kamakhya Saikia was also present in the press conference.
