GUWAHATI, March 2 - With the objective of generating self-employment among the women of Joypur and Kharghuli, E-Careerpluz Info India Pvt Ltd Joypur branch, under the Prime Minister�s Skill Development Programme, organised a fair on skill development � Kaushal Mela for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojna (PMKVY) � at Joypur here recently.
The main focus of the fair was on self-employed tailoring course for three months. The course is free of cost as it is under PMKVY, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. More than 100 participants were present at the programme.
Gracia Anthony, Provincial of Women Development Centre was the chief guest of the occasion.
