GUWAHATI, March 9 - In order to clear the sudden rush of passengers, the NF Railway has decided to attach extra coaches to some long-distance trains for a few days this week.
NFR Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) PJ Sharma said today that one extra sleeper class coach each will be attached to the 15909 Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express, the 15644 Kamakhya-Puri Express, the 12501 Poorvattar Sampark Kranti Express, and the 15662 Kamakhya-Ranchi Express on select days.
In addition, one extra AC 3 tier coach will be attached to the 12518 Guwahati-Kolkata Garib Rath Express, while one extra AC 2 tier coach will be attached to both the 12520 Kamakhya-Lokmanya Tilak AC Express for select days this week. Besides, one extra AC 2 tier coach and one extra AC 3 tier coach will be attached to the 15655 Kamakhya-Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express leaving Kamakhya on March 12.
