NEW DELHI, April 17 � Chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday said that extortions and kidnappings in Assam are not alarming compared to some of the NE States.
Talking to this newspaper, Gogoi said the State Government has been trying to curb the illegal activities of the militant and ex-militant groups in State. He was referring to the PMs� address at the CMs� Conference, when he prodded the CMs� to act against illegal activities.
