Extension decried

DULIAJAN, Jan 12: The Dibrugarh district units of the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Parishad and the Mottock Yuba Chatra Sanmilan jointly staged a demonstration in front of the Assam Gas Company Ltd (AGCL) headquarters here on Saturday in protest against the State Government�s decision to extend the tenure of service of the incumbent Managing Director of the PSU, Bhupen Borpatra Gohain, by six months. The MD was supposed to superannuate on December 31 last year as per the State Government service rules.
