KOHIMA, Oct 2 - Retired Nagaland Chief Secretary, Banuo Z Jamir, who is also the first woman to occupy the highest position in the State�s bureaucracy, was today honoured with the prestigious Classic Award of the year instituted by Classic Club Kohima.
Banuo was given the award for her �exemplified integrity, unequivocal commitment and outstanding leadership throughout her career as an administrator of the highest level�. This was mentioned in the citation presented to her by Governor PB Acharya at a function here this evening. � PTI
