Ex-Katigorah MLA�s name not in final draft

SILCHAR, July 31 - A day after he could not find his name on the complete draft of the NRC, two-time MLA from Katigorah constituency of Cachar district Ataur Rahman Majharbhuiya has decided to send legal notice to NRC State Coordinator Prateek Hajela allegedly for exclusion of his name from the complete draft.

�My name was included in the first list published on December 31, 2017. But I could not find my name in the complete draft. It is strange that I have used the same legacy data as used by my family members. The Cachar DC has assured to ensure justice. But if things do not shape well, I have decided to go ahead with a legal notice to the State NRC Cordinator,� the former legislator said.
