GUWAHATI, July 12 - The Assam Ex-Cricketers Association, headed by former Ranji cricketers Prabir Hazarika as president and Debashis Sinha as secretary, has appealed to all quarters to act together for the all round development of the game in the State.
Stating this in a release signed by Debashis Sinha, the ex cricketers said, they have faith on the present body of the Assam Cricket Association as under the guidance of the present body the Assam Ranji team has attained a respectable place at the national level. The Assam women teams are also doing well at the national circuit and above all a giant stadium of international standard came up here during the tenure of the present body.
The members also organised a bike rally from Latasil playground to the Nehru Stadium in support of the present ACA body.
