GUWAHATI, April 5 Ex-students of the Cotton College today announced their resolve to oppose any move to downgrade the centurion college in the name of upgrading it.

This view, which dominated the proceedings of the Cotton College Alumni Meet 2015 on its second day today, became the focal point during the open and interactive sessions of the meet. The meet was attended by ex-Cottonians from all over the country and abroad.

The meet started with a cultural programme yesterday evening. It was inaugurated by noted musician Jitu Sarma of the famous Jitu-Tapan musician duo. Many past and present Cottonians performed in the cultural programme.
