GUWAHATI, Dec 2 � A meeting of ex-graduate Cottonians who have completed 50 years or more was held on November 24 at the Cotton College old library building under the presidentship of Prof (retd) Tarakeswar Chaudhury who is also the president of Cotton College Retd. Teachers� Forum. A large number of past graduate Cottonians of 50 years or more attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the write up of Ramani Kanta Deka under the heading, �Past Cottonians of 50 years or more�, The Assam Tribune dated November 8, 2012.
It is ultimately decided to hold such a get together etc., of past graduate Cottonians right from 1970 and earlier. A sub committee was formed with Tarakeswar Chaudhury as president and Indra Bhattacharjee, ex-principal Cotton College as general secretary besides other functionaries.
