GUWAHATI, Nov 16 � The Kamrup Metro district administration today carried out an eviction drive at Borsola.
During the drive, one big building, eight semi permanent structures and two concrete walls were demolished and one katha and two bighas of land were freed from eviction. Lakhinandan Saharia, Guwahati Circle Officer, said that evictions at both Borsola and Sarusola Beels will continue in the next few days. He said that besides eviction of illegal squatters, the administration is also carrying on work for digging of the water bodies.
