DIPHU, April 20 - In connection with the recently-launched 'My Govt Assam' portal by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, the Karbi Anglong district administration is going to organise a series of essay writing competitions on the topics, 'My Village My Idea' and 'Poster Design for Road Safety', informed an official press release.
The Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong district through the press release stated that Government of Assam has taken up awareness campaigns and several other measures to curb road accidents. Steps have been taken to stop the increasing number of road accidents and fatalities in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner has urged all the principals of colleges, HS schools and headmasters of high schools to participate in the essay competitions by logging in the portals https://assam.mygov.in/task/essay-writing-competition-theme-my-village-my-idea and https://assam.mygov.in/task/poster-designing-contest-road-safety for awareness campaign on road safety.
