SHILLONG, Aug 25 - Election Commission�s latest introduction ERONET was today launched in Meghalaya, promising time bound enrolment, rectification and replacement of voter cards.
The service was launched in all 11 districts in the State by the respective election returning officers. A State launch was held here at the deputy commissioner�s office, Chief Election Officer FR Kharkongor said.
�ERONET is similar to when you apply for a passport nowadays. Under this service, voters can apply for new voter cards, transfer and rectify and update their voter cards through this portal,� he said. � PTI
