GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - The 1st Shillong Horse Show and the Regional Equestrian League which was inaugurated on November 19 by JM Parriot, former Home Minister of Meghalaya, came to an end this afternoon, said a press release here today.
The two-day championships saw participation from almost all major equestrian contingents from North East Region, which included Assam Rifles, North East Police Academy, Assam Police, Assam Valley and Equestrian Federation of Assam. The events of the meet included Jumping, Tent Pegging and Dressage.
Assam Valley School dominated the children and junior events, while the open Dressage was won by HC Lakwinder Singh of Assam Rifles.
