Entry of Thaosen, Daolagupu into BJP opposed

By Correspondent

HAFLONG, Oct 29 - The Dima Hasao BJP District Committee has opposed the possible entry of former CEM Debojeet Thaosen and EM Kulendra Daolagupu into the party. This was disclosed by BB Hagjer, president, Dima Hasao BJP District Committee, at a press meet in the district BJP office here on Monday.

Hagjer said that during their tenure in the NCHAC, the administration was not efficient and there were charges of corruption against them, as a result which many Congress MACs and Congress party workers had left their party. So it would be harmful for the BJP as well as the district to allow them to join the party, he said.

When the district BJP president was asked about the joining of Prakanta Warisa, he said that Warisa did not like the style of functioning of ex-CEM Debojeet Thaosen and that is why he left his former party and joined the BJP long back and we welcomed him.

Hagjer added: If Thaosen and Daolagupu join the BJP, there would be no change and the workers would lose faith in the party. Thaosen and Daulagupu will not be welcomed even by the State BJP committee without the district BJPs consent. We have trust and confidence in the State BJP committee,

Hagjer said that if required, they would even approach the BJPs national leadership to prevent the entry of these two leaders into the party.
