GUWAHATI, June 6 - Enjebee Chakma of Assam has been selected to represent India in the 16th Asian Cadet, Junior and U-21 Karate Championship to be held at Astana, Kazakhstan from July 9 to 17.

Enjebee will participate in Cadet (14-15 years) female individual kumite 54kg event in the Asian Championship. Enjebee won a gold medal in the last National Junior Karate Championship held at New Delhi from May 10 to 13 from which she was selected for the Indian team, informed United Karate Do Association, Assam secretary Nagen Bongjang.
