IMPHAL, Nov 26 - England polo team thrashed Thailand team 9-2 goals on the fifth day of the ongoing 9th Manipur Polo International, 2015 played at Mapal Kangjeibung Polo ground here today.
Manipur�s Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam was the Chief Guest of the day�s match which was watched by a sizeable crowd at the polo ground.
The polo team of United States of America (USA) will meet England team in tomorrow�s first match while Manipur polo players representing India will meet Australia in the second match in the last league round encounters.
In their previous matches, USA beat Thailand 8-3, Australia 9-7 goals while India team beat USA, England and Thailand. The final will be played on November 29.
