GUWAHATI, Jan 4 � Sudam Charan Dutta (32), an engineer working for Gammon India Limited was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants last night in his official quarters in Joyguru area under Gauripur outpost.
Dutta, who hails from Orissa, was working at Gammon India Limited site for quite some time, police said.
�Preliminary investigation into the case revealed that there were at least two or more persons who were probably hiding inside Dutta�s room from before,� police sources said.
�The body of Dutta was lying in a pool of blood when the police team reached the spot. There were multiple injuries on his body,� police said.
