Electronic eye cameras to be installed in KNP

BOKAKHAT, June 10 � With a view to resist the rampant killing of one horned rhino in the Kaziranga National Park and to observe the illicit movement of doubtful persons, poachers the Kaziranga NP authority and the National Tiger Conservation Authority of India has decided to install eight high power electronic eye cameras in the KNP soon.

Addressing the media persons of Bokakhat and Kaliabor subdivision at Kauranga centenary Hall the director of the park Sanjib Borah hoped that with the installation of the eight cameras on high tower would enable the park�s officials and workers to track down the movement and activities of the suspected persons who entered to the park which footage will be sent to the controlling centre. Kaziranga will be the second project after Corbett National Park of Uttaranchal in camera installation.
