Election process of Deuri Autonomous Council

MAJULI, Nov 24 - The election process of Deuri Autonomous Council started here on Wednesday. The process of accepting the nomination letters has begun from Wednesday for the No. 2 Majuli council constituency under Deuri Autonomous Council in this district.

For this council constituency, Majuli�s additional DC Chinmay Nath and Election Officer Mogen Narah have already been appointed as Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer respectively by the State Election Commission.

According to the announcement of the State Election Commission, the voting of Deuri Autonomous Council will be held on December 15 from 8 am to 4pm. No. 2 Majuli council constituency�s Returning Officer Chinmay Nath stated on Wednesday that the willing candidates can submit their nomination letters in the DC�s Office, Garamur, Majuli, within 3 pm of November 28 to the Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer.

On November 28, the nomination letters will be accepted only between 11 am and 3 pm.

The Election Commission has also decided that the nomination letters will be examined on November 29. The last date of the withdrawal of nomination letter is 3 pm of December 1.
