HAILAKANDI, Aug 19 - Election to the Indian Red Cross Society Hailakandi, which was to be held today, has been postponed due to the seven-day national mourning following the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.
Deputy Commissioner Adil Khan has directed the Election Officer to postpone the election to the post of chairman and executive members of IRCS and to hold the same on September 2 next.
