AIZAWL, Aug 16 - The Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department today destroyed drugs worth Rs 95,87,432, which were seized during the last two years.
The department seized 252 grams of heroin from two persons � one belonging to the State and the other hailing from Manipur � at Bawngkawn here today. Booked under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the duo were produced before the special court of the ND&PS Act.
The department destroyed the drugs seized from January 2017 till date at the Forest department incinerator at the Aizawl Zoological Park.
