GUWAHATI, Feb 16 � As part of the ongoing drive against illegal earth-cutting in the city, the Kamrup Metro district administration today seized two vehicles used for such purposes.
The seizure was made during a raid conducted under Bhagaduttapur police station. The two vehicles were later handed over to the police.
Meanwhile, the administration has also directed the Forest department and the Transport department to take legal action against miscreants involved in illegal earth cutting in Guwahati, stated an official press release.
