Drinking water facilities to city school

GUWAHATI, Oct 3 � Sri Kathia Baba Charitable Trust has provided drinking water and toilet facilities to Krishna Nagar Vidyapeeth, Japorigog, besides donating three computers and an almirah.

The inaugural programme of the newly-developed facilities at the school was held on Saturday where East Guwahati MLA Captain Robin Bordoloi was present among the dignitaries, a press release said.

Captain Bordoloi, in his speech, lauded the endeavour of the Trust.

Trust secretary N Dhar Choudhury, an advocate of the Gauhati High Court, and retired IGP, Assam, Dr HL Dey who is a senior Trust member, and Nandarani Choudhury, member, also addressed the function.

The Trust proposes to develop a charitable health centre at Temple Road, Pandu, to provide free medical aid and ambulance facility to those hailing from economically underprivileged sections.
