GUWAHATI, Feb 25 � The condition of Dr Bhupen Hazarika who is undergoing treatment at the Hayat Hospital is stated to be improving.
Hospital sources said that Dr Hazarika had suffered an acute left ventricular failure but showed definite signs of improvement since his admission. �Dr Hazarika is taking food and is also talking. Doctors are satisfied with his progress but are not taking any chances as Dr Hazarika has been a heart patient and is also a diabetic with high blood pressure,� sources said, adding that he could be discharged in a few days if the present rate of improvement continued.
A team of doctors is attending on Dr Hazarika who is being treated in a separate room with strict restriction on visitors.
