GUWAHATI, Feb 19 � The Assam Academy of Media Studies and Unike Media are jointly organising the 83rd birth anniversary of Padmashree Dr Bhabendranath Saikia on February 20 at Shraddhanjali Kanan here from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
On the occasion, guests including Kulendu Pathak, Pranjal Saikia, Moloya Goswami and Manoj Borpujari would present lectures on the life and works of Dr Saikia. There would also be a cultural programme by the students of Aarohan. After the memorial lectures, there will be a screening of his award winning movie Sandhyaraag in presence of around 2000 viewers, a press release stated.
