Domestic maid jumps to death

GUWAHATI, March 13 - A girl hailing from Kokrajhar district died after she jumped from her employer�s house in Gurgaon under mysterious circumstances on Saturday. The incident has raised eyebrows as the girl had called up her family members a day before to express her desire to come back. �What transpired after that is still a mystery and leaves serious doubts in our minds,� said Rishi Kant of Shakti Vahini. �It is even more baffling that every domestic help who dies under such circumstances are always 18 years. The Assam Police needs to investigate the case thoroughly,� Rishi Kant said, adding that an FIR has already been lodged with the Gurgaon Police in this connection.
