In a shocking incident, a doctor of a government hospital in Tripura was allegedly attacked by a mob in Gomti district.
The doctor, identified as Dr Partha Talapatra, was allegedly assaulted by the attendants of a patient in Natun Bazar Rural Hospital after the patient died post referral to the hospital.
Dr Talapatra filed an FIR against the attendants of the deceased patient Pradip Das. The police has started an investigation into the matter and no arrests have been made so far.
