Diyungbra subdivision inaugurated

HAFLONG, March 3 - The long felt dream of Diyungbra area of Dima Hasao has come true with the inauguration of new subdivision (Civil) by CEM Debojeet Thaosen, NCHAC, Haflong as chief guest. However, Hill Areas Development Minister Shri Khorsing Ingti could not attend the programme due to his busy schedule.

The inaugural ceremony was organised by Dima Hasao district administration, Haflong. CEM Debojeet Thaosen in his brief speech thanked Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and expressed his happiness of having a new subdivision within Dima Hasao district.

The programme was attended by EM Nirmal Langthasa, ex-EM Mayanon Kemprai, Deputy Commissioner A Baruah, Principal Secretary Ramesh Thaosen, Secretary and Revenue Officer Sandesh Ardao, ADC MJ Thaosen, Additional SP Tokbi, Mouzadar Narendra Hojai, among others.
