GUWAHATI, Sept 28 - National Assessment and Accreditation Council of Bangalore (NAAC) has, in its second cycle of accreditation, accorded B grade to Dispur College.
Earlier, a three-member NAAC peer team headed by Dr Sarabjit Singh Chahal, former VC, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Chandigarh visited the Dispur College for NAAC assessment.
Other members of the peer team were: Dr (Sister) Lilian Rosario (member coordinator) and Prof Metabadal Shukala (member).
Principal of the college Dr Amar Saikia delivered his welcome speech at the NAAC exit meeting held in the college premises.
Dr Chahal, after making his observation speech at the exit meeting, handed over the peer team report to the Principal of the college. Coordinator of the steering committee Dr Rani Deka offered the vote of thanks. This was stated in a press release.
