Differently-abled students shine in HSLC exam

GUWAHATI, May 15 - The differently-abled students in the State performed well in the HSLC Examination, 2019.

A statement issued by Pratibandhi Suraksha Sangstha, Assam, said that only one student appeared in the examination from Bihpuria Blind School and secured the first division with letter marks in two subjects � Mathematics and English.

From Nagaon Blind School, two students appeared in the examination and both of them secured the first division and one of them also scored letter marks in Mathematics.

From Jorhat Blind School, six students sat for the examination and among them three secured first divisions and the other three secured second division where all of them scored letter marks in Music subject.

From Moran Blind School, only one student appeared in the examination and secured the first division with letter marks in two subjects � Assamese and English.

From Guwahati Blind School, three students appeared in the examination and all of them secured the second division with letter marks in Music.

From Saraswati Bagdhwani School, Guwahati, among six students, two secured the first division and four secured the second division.

From the Govt BDS Deaf and Dumb School, Guwahati, among 33 students, 10 secured the first division, 17 second division and three secured the third division. Among them, two scored letter marks in Woodcraft, two scored letter marks in Computer Science and one scored letter marks in Fine Arts.
