DOOMDOOMA, Sept 29 - The Inter District Throw Ball Tournament (Senior and Sub-junior boys and girls ) will be held at Dibrugarh in mid-December and the East Zone Throw Ball Tournament will be held at Mariani in December-end . This was stated by the general secretary of Assam Throw Ball Association (ATBA) Piklu Roy here.
The first executive meeting of the newly formed ATBA was held recently at Dhaba NH-37 at Borhapjan near here under the presidentship of ATBA president Rupjoyti Kurmi (MLA and Parliamentary Secretary ). In the meeting, the executive committee of ATBA was extended by inducting some members and forming various sub-committees.
The full fledged executive committee of ATBA is - Rupjoyti Kurmi (President), Sachindralal Bhuyan (Working President ), Lalit Gogoi, Mriganka Hazarika, Malabika Hazarika, Pranamoy Rajguru, Diganta Baruah & Mridul Sharma (Vice-Presidents), Piklu Roy (General Secretary ), Ratulmoni Mahanta & Sah Miruj Ali (Joint Secretary ), Amarjyoti Hagjer, Tarun Dutta, Pratap Singha & Mamu Khanikar Begum (Assistant Secretary ), Simanta Gogoi (Office Secretary ), Bipin Gogoi (Treasurer). There are nine other members in the committee .
Siddhartha Barman will be technical chairman, Kusum Deka will be refree board chairman, Abu Nachim will be the chairman of disciplinary committee, Sah Miruj Ali & Ratulmoni Mahanta will be the chairman of selection committee and Pranamoy Rajguru will be the chairman of finance & development committee . A seven member advisory committee of ATBA was also formed with Nazira MLA Debabrat Saikia as chief adviser.
