DULIAJAN, March 30 - Jadu Shyam Football Coaching Centre, Dibrugarh emerged champions in the 3rd OIL- DFA Invitational Inter-Academy Football Tournament.
In the final played here today, the Dibrugarh youngsters edged out host Duliajan Football Academy 1-0. Sidhartha Sarkar of JSFCC, Dibrugarh walked away with the best player of the final award.
The tournament was organized by the Duliajan Football Academy under the patronage of Oil India Limited (OIL).
In the closing function Jishnu Kumar Sarma, Executive Director (PS), OIL was the chief guest. Other guests present in the function were- Golap Chandra Medhi, Executive Director (HR&A), OIL, Dilip Kumar Bhuyan, General Manager (PA), OIL, Porag Gogoi, DGM (Security), OIL, Debashis Bora, DGM (Logistics), Jayanta Kumar Das, Chief Manager (ER), OIL, Dr Padma Nath Taid, Deputy CMO (MS), Ramesh Chandra Phukan, vice president, Assam Football Association.
