GUWAHATI, Nov 22 � The inaugural programme of the year-long diamond jubilee celebration of New Art Players, a leading cultural body of the State, will begin at the Rabindra Bhawan here at 4 pm tomorrow.
The cultural body which is celebrating 60 years of its existence has chalked out an elaborate programme for the occasion.
The multi-hued programmes include launching of its website in January next year, a children�s drama festival in February, felicitation of prominent women of the North East and a memorial lecture sometime in March/April, an invitational drama festival in August, programme on Borgeet and Assamese folk songs in October, besides several other events in November and December.
