UDALGURI, Oct 17 - Football Academy, Dhupdhara of Goalpara lifted the Upen Brahma Gold Cup defeating local outfit New Model Sports Club 1-0 today in the final played today at the Udalguri Stadium here.
It was Pankaj Hazowary, the striker of Dhupdhara who netted the solitary goal converting a penalty kick in 17th minute.
Subhankar Rabha of Dhupdhara was adjudged the best player of the tournament and was presented the Nagen Das memorial Best players trophy with a cash award of Rs 2000.
Tridip Daimari, speaker of BTC assembly gave away the gold cup to the winning team.
