By Sports reporter

GUWAHATI, Nov 11 Pacemen Dhiraj Goswami and Ranjit Mali rocked the Railways batting line-up sharing five wickets among themselves as the hosts were tottering at 115 for six at stumps in reply to Assams first innings total of 187.

On the second day of the four-day Elite Group Ranji Trophy match at Karnail Singh Stadium in Delhi today, Assam, resuming their innings at 174 for seven, folded their first innings at 187 after 101.4 overs of batting. Overnights unbeaten batsman Tarjinder Singh could just add 11 runs to his total of 34. Chasing a modest total, the Railwaymen were in trouble from the initial stage and half of their batsmen were back in the pavilion with the scoreboard reading 71. TP Singh was their top scorer with 41 off 91 balls with five hits to the fence. M Rawat (18) and M Suresh (16 n.o) were the other useful contributors for Railways.
