BARAMA, Nov 4 � A section of aggrieved people staged a dharna programme at village Dalbari against Hagrama Mohilary, the BTC chief when he came to the village to lay the foundation stone of the Eklavya Model Residential School.
According to sources, the academic session of the residential school started two years back. The guardians of students studying in classes VI and VII protested against the new foundation laying programme as a foundation laying ceremony was held two years back at the same campus under the initiative of Barlungfa Welfare Association, a leading NGO of the locality.
A large section of people shouted slogans against the new foundation laying ceremony of the school. But the police prevented the situation from reaching a flash point.
