�Dharitri� introduced in Kokrajhar Revenue Circle

KOKRAJHAR, Dec 13 - The Land Records Computerization Software system known as �Dharitri� was formally introduced in Kokrajhar Revenue Circle recently.

The scheme was successfully implemented at the Kokrajhar Revenue Circle. Dharitri is a completely web-enabled system of the Revenue department meant to do away with drawbacks of the traditional system of keeping land records in registers like Chita and Jamabandi etc.

Keeping in view the necessity of e-governance for good administration, the BTC authority introduced the system for the first time in the BTC region.

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary, inaugurated the system at a function held at Kokrajhar Revenue Circle Office premises in the presence of BTC Principal secretary BC Phukan, Executive Members of BTC Doneswar Goyari, Rajib Kr Brahma, Ex- EM, Mano Kr Brahma, Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner PP Majumder, Circle Officer Kokrajhar Revenue Circle Dipan Barman, among others.

Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary expressed his utmost pleasure over the introduction of computerized processed of generation and maintenance of land records in a very short period of time at the circle office level.

BC Phukan, Principal Secretary of BTC, in his speech, informed that the same scheme would be implemented in all the Revenue Circle Offices of BTC region within a very short period of time.

Dipan Barman, Circle Officer, Kokrajhar Revenue Circle, who was the main architect of this program, in his speech, called upon all to take advantage of the benefits of this system which was introduced by the BTC authority. �The system eventually will promote faster, accurate and less time consuming official process in this regard,� he said. He also threw light on the function, advantages and future prospects of the CLR project.
