SIVASAGAR, March 10 - The Sivasagar AASU unit took out a massive procession today and raised slogans against the perpetrators of the Silapathar incident of vandalism and the alleged anti-Assamese stand of the NDA government in this regard.
AASU education secretary Sarat Hazarika, district secretary Samiran Phukan and many other senior citizens addressed the gathering at Boarding Field. The student body demanded immediate arrest of Subudh Biswas, the main accused in the Silapathar incident.
