GUWAHATI, May 3 � Due to delay in the power supply restoration work, many areas of the city faced power problems today. A heavy storm that had lashed the city in the wee hours yesterday, damaged many power lines of Guwahati.
�Though the authorities claimed that power supply would be restored by this morning, we had no power till the evening,� said a resident of Uzanbazar area.
Other localities that faced power problems included Latasil, Ambari, parts of Chandmari and Paltanbazar and Kharghuli areas.
