JORHAT, Dec 26 - Top seed Debangana Borkotoky of Jorhat entered the final in the girls� U-14 and U-18 categories of the 24th Jorhat Open Tennis Tournament which is going on at the Jorhat Tennis Club.
In the semifinals played today, Debangana beat Harshita Bora of Dibrugarh in the U-14 group and will play 2nd seeded Eva Raj Shah of Guwahati in the final who beat 4th seeded Baishali Bora of NRL.
In the U-18 final Debangana will play against unseeded Breshna Khan of Guwahati who beat unseeded Eva Raj Shah also of Guwahati.
In the boys� U-18 semifinal 3rd seeded Satyam Goswami of NRL caused an upset beating top seeded Uddish Borpuzari of Jorhat. Satyam will play against 2nd seeded Manash P Kuli of Sivasagar, who got the better of 7th seeded Kaushik J Bora of Guwahati, in the final.
