AGARTALA, March 8 - For the first time in the history of Tripura, a BJP Government led by Biplab Deb will assume office on Friday, party sources here said.
Deb will take oath as Chief Minister in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 15 Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled States at Assam Rifles ground here. Union Minister Jitendra Singh and Kiren Rijiju will also remain present in the oath taking ceremony.
Along with Deb, his Cabinet colleagues will also be sworn in as Cabinet Ministers by Governor Tathagata Roy. As per guidelines, the Cabinet will have 12-members including the Chief Minister.
